Abstract

Stress accompanies any activity in which man is involved, this being one of the possible results of a conflict generated between the activity itself and the one who performs it. As such, stress exists in any of the dimensions of the living space: family, friends, school, profession. The general tendency in the assessment of stressful situations is to link the occurrence of stress to the direct environment of activity, by virtue of the increasing requirements of professional development, reconversion and adaptation to new occupational areas, increasing the rate of change of place of work. work, etc., all these being effects of the high rate of change, imposed especially by the last 50 years of technological and informational revolution. But stress, in one form or another, exists even in the most elementary interaction between the individual and the environment or, in other words, in everything that can be included under the name of "life events", not necessarily of a professional nature.
